Pink has a small window of use in company branding, although it is breaking down barriers and isn't quite so pigeon-holed these days. Like red, it's associated with love, but more on the romantic side. It can also signify feminine qualities and passiveness. The shade of pink makes a difference - when paler it leans towards tenderness as opposed to cerise which has fun and passionate connotations. You've got a lot to say but not a lot of space to put it in... the temptation is to make the font size smaller and smaller so that it will all fit. Beware though, if you go below 6pt it will become very difficult to read, and only really use this point size for 'small print'. When designing a logo, we obviously view it as the size it appears on our screen, and invariably it transfers onto other screens and similar sized printed literature once it's in use. That was the case with this logo we designed for QCT. Three years later, they moved to some beautiful new premises and wanted to have their logo displayed on it. It has worked well at this much larger size, and it is something to bear in mind when doing the original design. A suggestion would be to give visual representations of how it would look on items from various ends of the scale. Currently working on their Mac2004 exhibition stand design and decals for the machinery - they are great team and I love going to client meetings, seeing their branding everywhere - from embroidered on clothing to vehicles to buildings!
